Found Snaps Defined Casual Dresses for Ladies in the Early 1960s _ Old US Nostalgia

There’s no denying that the ’60s were one of the most impactful eras in fashion. Setting the tone for modern style, the decade revolutionized womenswear with bold colors, striking cuts and a  youthful attitude.

In addition to tailored skirts, women wore stiletto heel shoes and suits with short boxy jackets, and oversized buttons. Simple, geometric dresses, known as shifts, were also in style.
For evening wear, full-skirted evening gowns were worn; these often had a low décolletage and close-fitting waists.

Take a look at these found snapshots from foundin_a_attic to see what ladies often wore in the early 1960s.
